An example of everyday negative influence is manipulation. Sometimes, in a relationship, one partner, with stronger energy, influences the other through manipulation. The second partner may not even realize it, but can still fall victim to this influence. Although manipulation often happens unconsciously, it can seriously harm the other person, leading to mental disorders and even deterioration of physical health.
Negative emotions such as resentment, anger, and envy can also have a harmful impact. During a conflict, we may become the target of such negative influence, or, without intending to, direct our negative thoughts toward the other person.
